While the administrators and moderators of this forum will attempt to remove or edit any generally objectionable material as quickly as possible, it is impossible to review every message. Therefore you acknowledge that all posts made to these forums and associated news pages express the views and opinions of the author and not LU Cinema, the administrators, moderators or webmaster (except for posts by these people). For this reason, LU Cinema, the administrators, moderators and webmaster will not be held liable for the content of the bulletin board or news pages.
You agree that the webmaster, administrator and moderators of this forum have the right to remove, edit, move or close any topic at any time should they see fit. Any message may be read by system administrators (i.e. the Forum Administrator or Root access). No responsibility is accepted for any errors which may lead to messages being read, deleted or altered by anybody else.

The LU Cinema Members Area and bulletin board is intended to provide a forum for discussion, information exchange and debate for LU Cinema members and alumni. To allow this system to prosper, the following basic rules apply:
1. Please moderate your own language; the excessive use of obscenities and swear words is not permitted.
2. University/ Union rules concerning sexism, racism, homophobia etc. apply here.
3. JANET and University Acceptable Use Policies also apply here.
4. Any applicable laws regarding abusive, obscene, vulgar, slanderous, hateful, threatening, sexually-oriented and other materials also apply here.
5. The 'Misc' area is provided for general discussion on anything within reason. Please refrain from posting messages to any forum which are not relevant to that forum.
Above all, common sense should be employed to ensure that use of these forums is enjoyable for all.

If anyone would like to raise concern over the content of another user's post(s), they should contact a moderator or the administrator who will investigate and deal with it appropriately.
Abuse of the LU Cinema members area can and will lead to suspension/removal from the site and/or removal of a members associate privilages.
Extreme abuse of the LU Cinema members area may lead to your service provider being informed of your actions in addition to the measures described above. The IP address of all posts is recorded to aid in enforcing these conditions.

By registering on this system, each user agrees that all personal information supplied may be stored in a database and used by LU Cinema for the following purposes:
1. The production of electronic and printable signup rotas for House Management, Projection, Stewarding, Publicity and Training.
2. The production of contact sheets for contact via email or telephone (including mobile telephone) by members of the LU Cinema Executive and Associates.

4. Confirmation of your registration details and password (and for sending new passwords should you forget your current one).
5. Notification of changes to the registration agreement.
While this information will not be disclosed to any third party without your consent, LU Cinema, the webmaster, administrator and moderators of the site cannot be held responsible for any hacking attempt that may lead to the data being compromised.
